The Jesus Generation

A generation that knows Jesus, lives for Him and carries Him into their world. Three days created for young people to encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, build great friendships and discover what it means to live boldly for Him.

26-28 August 2027
Glow Church, Newton Aycliffe

Jesus Generation is a three-day Christian youth conference in the North East of England for young people in school years 7–13, including Year 6 leavers. Across three unforgettable days, we'll gather around Jesus through powerful worship, biblical teaching, prayer and moments to respond to God. Alongside it all, expect loads of fun, new friendships, great food and the Glow Games.

This isn't simply about having a great few days together. We want young people to leave knowing Jesus more deeply, confident in what they believe and ready to live out their faith wherever God has placed them.

Across the conference, expect powerful sessions centred on Jesus and His Word, alongside worship gatherings that create space to encounter God. And it won't all happen in the auditorium. Glow Games brings everyone together for competition, team challenges and plenty of fun, with time throughout the conference to hang out, eat together and build friendships.

Every part of Jesus Generation has a purpose: helping young people grow in faith, find their people and return home ready to make a difference.

We believe teenagers don't have to wait until they're older to make a difference. Jesus Generation exists to call young people to a faith that is real, personal and visible, knowing Jesus for themselves, building their lives on His Word and having the courage to carry their faith into their schools, friendships, families and everyday lives.

Jesus Generation is for young people in school years 7–13, including those leaving Year 6 and preparing to start secondary school.

You don't need to attend Glow Church or Glow Youth to come. Whether you're already following Jesus, exploring faith or coming along with friends, you're welcome.

Youth groups and youth leaders from other churches are welcome too.
That last sentence is important. If you want this conference to grow beyond Glow, I'd deliberately position it as a regional youth conference rather than a bigger version of Glow Youth.
