At Glow, we believe leadership is a calling, not just a position — and healthy leadership is formed, not assumed. Our Leadership Pathway exists to raise confident, culture-carrying leaders who reflect the heart of Jesus, serve with excellence, and influence others with integrity and clarity.
Whether you're just stepping into responsibility or carrying weight at a senior level, this pathway provides intentional steps for growth. It’s not about climbing a ladder — it’s about growing in character, conviction, and capacity to lead well in every season. From kids and youth through to senior leadership and eldership, we’re committed to developing leaders who multiply others and build the Church.
LEADERSHIP PATHWAY
At Glow, we don’t just appoint leaders — we form them. Our Leadership Pathway is designed to raise up healthy, culture-carrying leaders at every level, from emerging voices to experienced elders.
Stage 1: Early Starters
▸Leadership starts young at Glow. We intentionally sow seeds of identity, responsibility, and purpose early in life through our Glow Kids Academy, which introduces faith, identity, and simple serving, and our Glow Youth Academy, which develops spiritual disciplines, confidence, and early leadership skills.
Stage 2: Leading at Glow
▸Our Leaders Foundation Course is a 5 week online journey, featuring short, self-paced podcast episodes. It equips new leaders with a clear understanding of Glow’s culture, vision, leadership DNA, and spiritual responsibility. The course concludes with a self-certification and a personal 1:1 follow-up conversation, ensuring each leader is aligned, confident, and ready to carry what leadership at Glow truly means.
Stage 3: Apprentice to Lead
▸We believe leadership is best learned by doing. This is why we invite emerging leaders to grow under the guidance of an existing team leader, with no formal classroom content — just real, hands-on leadership formation. This stage is built around feedback, stretch moments, and opportunities to lead at increasing levels, helping individuals develop confidence, character, and capability in real-time ministry environments.
Stage 4: Senior Leadership Track
▸The Senior Leadership Track is designed for high-capacity leaders carrying broader influence and responsibility. It includes online modules, mentoring and strategic input, supported by external leadership coaches to foster growth, health, and accountability.
Stage 5: Eldership Formation
▸Eldership Formation is a prayerful, guided process for those called to spiritual oversight. Over 6–12 months, candidates engage in teaching on doctrine, governance, household leadership, and spiritual authority, with input and assessment from elders and trusted peers.
